About me

For your technical copywriting, copy editing and proof-reading projects, I believe I have the experience and expertise to provide you with the high quality solutions you need. Here’s why:

Experience

I have been a freelance Technical Copywriter for 27 years. I was trained in the Howard advertising agency in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, before moving to Brussels to set up as a freelancer in 1987.

Language proficiency

I am English mother-tongue and was educated in the UK, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Wales. I have been an enthusiastic writer all my life. I’ve written for New Scientist and The Times.

Technical know-how

Having worked in a range of industries over the past 27 years, I have built up extensive technical knowledge of all types of products and services. This means I can easily talk with and understand the language of product managers and technical specialists.

Flexibility

I can easily adapt to your specific requirements. You might require in-house writing support for a few days, help with a conference speech, an urgent product brochure for an exhibition, or occasional editing of your PowerPoint presentations. Whatever type of technical copywriting, copy editing or proof-reading support you are looking for, I will provide the professional help you need.

Good value

I am based near Brussels, but work with many clients electronically via email and telephone. It’s quick, effective and it keeps costs down. In this way, I have worked successfully with clients in Paris, Helsinki, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Athens, Toledo (Ohio) and Phoenix (Arizona).

On-time delivery

I know all too well that you always have tight deadlines to meet. That’s why I aim for the shortest possible turn-round of projects. Your deadline is my deadline too.
